Cora's Reading Reflection for 2/5/07- The Power of Un

The Power of Un is mainly about time traveling. I like the title Nancy Etchemendy, (the author) chose for the book. My thought is that an "un" is short for undoing or undo. In the story, a boy is undoing the past so he can change the future of his little sister getting hit by a truck. I would totaly recomed this book to some who likes adventure and timetraveling.

Cora's Reading reflection for 12/4/06 - The Man in the Moon

To me, this story is shouting me "Appreciate what you are in life, because nothing else is better that who you are." The blacksmith wanted to be almost anything except him, but when he changed into a substance that made him want to be something else until he wound up back as a blacksmith.

Cora's Reading Reflection for 12/3/06 - Behind the Mountains

The book that I just finished is called Behind the Mountains. It's one of my desired books, (this is my third time reading this book.) One of the reasons I like Behind the Mountains is becuase it has a lot of proverbs. For example, one of the proverbs in the book is "Behind the mountains are more mountains", which means when you solve problems, there are more problems after that.
Behind the Mountains is mainly about a girl and her family how there are wars where she lives. It's mainly about how hard life can really be. If I had to evaluate how many stars this story had to be, I would make it four and a half stars.
